SAME's location for General Membership Meetings shall remain at the SDPride Office.
Greetings SAME members and Allies.
At tonight's meeting on August 14th, 2012, by a majority vote, The General Membership voted to keep the SAME meetings at the San Diego Pride Office located at 3620 30th St San Diego, CA 92104.
Our partner and ally "Canvass for A Cause" (CFAC) had graciously offered to allow SAME meetings at their offices.
Some of the points made that led to the decision to stay at SDPride were wheelchair accessibility, parking availability and acoustics.
The SAME members present do understand that during the month of July, it may be necessary to use CFAC's site during Pride month or for a possible working meeting that involves sign and/or poster making should an event occur that requires these items from time to time.
SAME hopes to see all members and allies at our continued location at the SDPride Office.
